Study on the database construction and efficient visualization of 3D urban pipeline

Aiming at the problem that 2Dpipeline system is deficiency of visualization and integration for urban pipe network presentation,a real-time modeling method of 3D urban pipeline was proposed based on the construction of 3Dpipeline database.Without preprocessing,through the support of many kinds of GIS and non-GIS pipeline data,3Dpipeline real-time modeling and visualization could be realized efficiently based on 3D pipeline symbol library in the 3D pipeline database and visualization parameters.Taking one area of Chongqing as example,the pipeline model was created with LOD-considered,high efficiency,strong simulation ability,keeping GIS data characteristics and supporting dynamic update.Combined with 3Durban models and geologic models,3Durban pipeline model could be rendered on the integration of aboveground and underground.
