<strong>Abstract</strong> The constant evolution of JavaScript has led to a diverse ecosystem of runtime environments, each with unique features and capabilities designed to cater to specific development needs. This paper aims to provide an in-depth comparison of two such runtime environments: Node.js and Bun. The primary focus is to elucidate the key differences, benefits, and potential drawbacks of each, in terms of their architecture, performance, scalability, ecosystem, and use cases.
