Abstract

As a result of the increasing reliance on digital platforms, there has been a proliferation of online crime reporting systems. These systems offer citizens a straightforward and efficient method of reporting occurrences. This article provides a detailed description of the design and development of a “Automated Crime Reporting and Incident Management System,” with a particular focus on the incorporation of user-friendly interfaces, data security protocols, and real-time reaction capabilities. In order to improve the efficiency of crime reporting and data management, the system makes it possible for law enforcement agencies and the general public to communicate in a way that is both clear and quick. Among the features that are included in the proposed system are interoperability with several platforms, automated case assignment, and status tracking responsibilities. Within the realm of public safety, this article investigates the system's potential to improve transparency, reduce the number of manual operations, and increase the amount of service that is provided.
