Abstract
The importance of Digital Crimes per Michael Dennis (2016) is that the computer has become central to government agencies, entertainment, and commerce . defined Cybercrime as "also called computer crime, the use of a computer as an instrument to further illegal ends, such as committing fraud, trafficking in child pornography and intellectual property, stealing identities, or violating privacy. Cybercrime, especially through the internet, has grown in importance as the computer has become central to commerce, entertainment, and government" (Dennis, 2016). According to Dennis (2016), cybercrimes are not targeting an individual's physical body. It targets the virtual body of the individual, which also applies to corporations and government agencies (Dennis, 2016).
