Abstract
The paper examines the issue of training servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine to perform assigned tasks during martial law, which is one of the main priorities for the defense of our country. Achieving combat objectives takes place in conditions that reflect the general nature of war - unpredictability, high intensity of threats and significant influence of external factors that can change every minute. Combat activity is a complex and dynamic form of interaction between servicemen and the combat situation. The military must adapt to changes, respond promptly to new challenges, analyze the situation and make decisions based on combat experience and team interaction. This necessitates in-depth training in both physical and psychological aspects. Concentration of attention, resistance to stressful situations, speed of decision-making and the ability to maintain self-control in critical conditions are key factors in the successful performance of combat missions. In view of the above, there is a need to improve the system of training cadets of higher military educational institutions of military formations in order to take an integrated approach to the development of physical, psychophysiological and functional abilities in physical education classes. The modern nature of hostilities, as well as the introduction of the latest types of weapons and technical means, have significantly complicated military activities, increasing the requirements for the moral, psychological and physical readiness of servicemen, units and subdivisions in the process of achieving the goals of armed struggle. In this regard, the study of the level of professional readiness of servicemen, which is a key factor in ensuring the effective and reliable performance of combat missions, is of particular relevance. For military science and practice, it is important to understand how combat conditions affect the psyche of servicemen, how to manage their behavior under stress, prevent uncertainty and fear, and motivate them to decisive and competent actions. The study of combat activities allows for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of forming a soldier's psychological resilience and readiness to perform combat missions, as well as to develop effective psychological models of combat behavior.
