A Study on the Phenomenon of English learners' Motivation Decline in Higher Vocational Colleges

at present, the construction of Higher Vocational Colleges and enrollment scale is gradually expanded, higher vocational education in China's higher education in a very important position. English Teaching in higher vocational colleges is an important part of teaching, which has a positive effect on improving students' English literacy. With the advance of the reform of English teaching, English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges made some achievements, but there are still students' interest in learning English is not high, the study of demotivation phenomenon, is not conducive to improve the students' English application ability. English teachers in higher vocational colleges should monitor the students' learning motivation in time, make clear the influencing factors of students' motivation, and find out the appropriate strategies to promote students' learning motivation. This paper analyzes and studies the phenomenon of English learning in higher vocational colleges.
