Protection Route Optimization for Multimedia Services

Ant colony algorithm finds better solution through positive feedback learning between ants and has good adaptability in different networks. This paper proposes a protection routing optimization algorithm based on ant colony optimization algorithm (PROA), which can provide differentiated protection for different multimedia services and carry out network load balancing to adapt to different network environments. The optimization objective of this algorithm includes multiple indexes, and the main challenge is how to find a better protection path based on feedback dynamic updating under complex indexes. Experimental results show that this method can effectively improve the service protection capability and load balancing degree of multimedia network.
