INNOVATION OF HEALTH PROMOTION AS AN EFFORT TO HABIT ON PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT (PHBS) IN INTEGRATED ISLAMIC SCHOOL CHILDREN

Abstract: The emergence of various diseases that often attack school age children are generally associated with PHBS. Therefore, planting PHBS grades in schools is an absolute necessity (MOH, 2008). Partner of this Science and Technology for the Community (IbM) are teachers and students at Al Fikri Makassar Integrated Islamic Elementary School . Health education efforts undertaken by the school have not been able to achieve the goal of increasing health value. This is reflected in the low personal hygiene of students. The cause were educational efforts that have not attracted the attention of students to PHBS, there is no peer role model and the PHBS socialization has never been carried out. In addition, it is difficult to maintain personal hygiene due to long school hours, and renovation of school layout has caused UKS to be inactive. The purpose of this IbM was to increase the motivation, knowledge and attitudes of teachers and students in applying PHBS. For this reason, relevant methodes to be need of this school are the establishment of PHBS child ambassadors and the provision of innovative PHBS media. The output that has been generated are an increase in students' knowledge and attitudes about PHBS from 54% to 80%. The production of PHBS pocket books, the formation of PHBS child ambassadors, the provision of poster media, Snakes anda Ladders game tool about PHBS, trash bins, electronic displays and publication on the electronic mass media fajaronline.com  Keywords: PHBS, innovation, media.     Abstrak: Munculnya berbagai penyakit yang sering menyerang anak usia sekolah umumnya berkaitan dengan PHBS. Olehnya itu penanaman nilai PHBS di sekolah merupakan kebutuhan mutlak (Depkes, 2008). Mitra kegiatan Iptek berbasis Masyarakat ini adalah guru dan siswa di SD IT Al Fikri Makassar. Upaya pendidikan kesehatan yang dilakukan pihak sekolah belum dapat mencapai tujuan peningkatan nilai kesehatan. Hal ini tercermin dari hygiene personal siswa yang rendah. Penyebabnya yaitu upaya pendidikan yang belum menarik perhatian siswa untuk ber-PHBS, tidak adanya panutan sebaya dan belum pernah dilakukan sosialisasi PHBS. Ditambah lagi sulitnya menjaga kebersihan diri karena jam sekolah yang panjang, dan renovasi tata ruang sekolah menyebabkan UKS tidak aktif. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi, pengetahuan dan sikap guru dan siswa dalam menerapkan PHBS. Untuk itu, metode yang relevan dengan kebutuhan di sekolah ini adalah pembentukan Duta cilik PHBS serta pengadaan media inovatif PHBS. Luaran yang telah dihasilkan yaitu terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap siswa tentang PHBS dari 54% menjadi 80%. Dihasilkannya buku saku PHBS, terbentuknya duta cilik PHBS, Penyediaan media poster, ular tangga PHBS, tempat sampah dan Display Elektronik serta Publikasi pada media massa elektronik fajaronline.com   Kata Kunci: PHBS, inovasi, media.
