Towards the mapping of UML class diagrams to association-oriented database metamodel schemata

In this paper we consider the issues of mapping system domain model in UML to database schema in Association-Oriented Database Metamodel. The paper is an element of publication series devoted to the mapping of data models to Association-Oriented Database Metamodel. The authors' contribution is a set of developed procedures of mapping, which have been presented and described in the context of semantic similarity of primitives of both metamodels. The evaluation of the procedures is presented on the example of common domain model.
