The article updates future teachers about the dignity and importance of their teaching profession, their place in society as a teacher and the level of usefulness of their professional profile as the source of motivation and guidance for professional growth. The article analyzes the work of domestic and foreign scholars on the professional profile of а teacher. Besides various requirements of teachers’ professional features, there are also his/her personal qualities as kindness, sensivity and love for children are discussed.
