Mining Accompanying Passing-Vehicles to Discover Suspected Gangs

The accompanying vehicles usually provide valuable hints to discover the suspected gangs. In this paper, using Hadoop, a new and efficient algorithm named TMFS is proposed for mining the spatial-and-temporal accompanying vehicles accurately and rapidly. Compared with the traditional algorithms, the veracity, run time and memory usage are all discussed in detail. Experimental results show that the Traffic MapReduced by Frequent Sequences (TMFS) algorithm is superior to Apriori algorithm and BIDE algorithm.
