VIRTUAL AND AUGMENTED REALITY IN EDUCATION: METHODS, PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

Information technologies play an important role in the modern world, as they are increasingly used in various areas of human activity. One of the promising technologies can be called virtual and augmented reality, which has found application in many areas. This technology is mainly used to visualize content and create an interactive environment where the user can interact with virtual objects. VR and AR have great potential for implementation in educational processes, so this issue will be considered in this paper. The article provides definitions of virtual and augmented reality and describes the main features of each technology. It lists many methods of using VR/AR in educational processes and collects the best examples of using these methods.
