  1. Observing quantum trajectories based on the fluorescence and dispersive measurement records of a superconducting qubit

    2017

We show the interplay of the backaction of two incompatible weak measurements of a superconducting qubit, its fluorescence and the transmission of a coupled cavity. The associated quantum trajectories reveal Zeno and diffusive dynamics.

  2. Demonstration of Quantum Advantage in Microwave Quantum Radar

    2022 · arXiv (Cornell University)

While quantum entanglement can enhance the performance of several technologies such as computing, sensing and cryptography, its widespread use is hindered by its sensitivity to noise and losses. Interestingly, even when entanglement has been destroyed, …

  3. Monitoring the energy of a cavity by observing the emission of a repeatedly excited qubit

    2024 · arXiv (Cornell University)

The number of excitations in a large quantum system (harmonic oscillator or qudit) can be measured in a quantum nondemolition manner using a dispersively coupled qubit. It typically requires a series of qubit pulses that …
