Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the current condition of the student-led experience learning activity in the schools located in the Gyenggi-province in order for the student-led experience learning activity to be activated in the fields of education. For doing this, 2,832 teachers in the schools were participated in the survey to find out the needs and limitations in the fields. The research findings were as follows. Student-led experience learning activity was effective for the creative thinking, communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, social participation, and the satisfaction of learning across the school levels. However, even though the student-led experience learning activity was supposed to be led by students, teachers led the learning activities from the planning, managing, and assessing of activities in most of schools regardless of the school levels. The most critical limitations were about the safety issues and lack of know-how of activities. Therefore, the study discusses and suggests the system of support for the student-led experience learning activity based on the findings.
