Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate how the PBL affected the self-efficacy for group work, perceived interaction and flow of pre-service early childhood special education teachers. In this study, the participants were 25 pre-service early childhood special education teachers, who were attending university located in Chungcheongnam-do. The Participants completed project-based learning for 15 weeks of ‘Subject Education Approacher for Young children’ classes. In order to examine how project-based learning affects early childhood special teachers, self-efficacy for group work, perceived interaction, and flow were tested at beginning and end of term. Results were analyzed by a paired t-test using SPSS 25.0 for Windows. As a result, significant changes occurred in the self-efficacy for group work, perceived interaction, and flow of pre-service early childhood special education teachers before and after applying project-based learning. Finally, discussion of the results and the limitation of the study were presented.
