Estrategias para la Integración de la Inteligencia Artificial y la Digitalización en la Escuela

The present research aims to identify and propose effective strategies to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalization in school contexts, focusing on higher education institutions in Mexico. Through a quantitative study applied to 300 participants (150 teachers and 150 students between 18 and 55 years old), data were collected through a structured digital questionnaire. The results show that, although 78% of teachers know at least one AI tool, only 34% have used it for pedagogical purposes. On the other hand, 49% of the students claim to have used AI for school assignments without teacher guidance. As also identified the existence of some barriers such as the lack of training (65%) and technological deficiencies (53%) within the educational campuses. Based on the findings, strategies such as continuous teacher training , basic technological infrastructure and ethical frameworks for use are proposed. Seeking to be able to have an AI integration where it should be pedagogically oriented and humanly balanced for an efficient use within a school environment.
