Photonic networks with nanoseconds switching and control for distributed machine learning systems

To flexibly accommodate diverse cloud workloads and AI applications, a novel disaggregated DCN architecture based on photonic integrated switches prototype with low latency and high bandwidth to interconnect computing and memory nodes is presented.
