Abstract
Information security is, defending information from illegitimate access, use, exposure, interruption, modification, examination, recording or demolition. Cloud computing is a type of Internet-based computing that imparts conjoint computer processing resources and data to computers and other devices as per requirement. It is a model that enables ubiquitous, on-demand access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. Currently, security has been regarded as one of the greatest problems in the development of Cloud Computing. The fundamental issue in successful implementation of Cloud computing is to effectively manage the security in the cloud applications. This paper discuss the role of cryptography in cloud computing to enhance the information security. The intent here is to get insights a new security approach with the implementation of cryptography to secure a data at cloud data centers.
