Abstract

Dyslexia is a language disorder that can impact children's reading abilities. With the rising global incidence of children experiencing reading difficulties, addressing the needs of this demographic is a critical concern. While some studies have proposed solutions for this group, there are currently no tailored interventions for dyslexic children in Vietnam. Therefore, in this study, we have developed a mobile device-based method to support Vietnamese children with Dyslexia in their reading. This approach enhances the effectiveness of teaching Vietnamese reading to dyslexic children and concurrently improves fundamental reading-related skills, such as reading aloud, reading comprehension, and memory. We conducted evaluations with children suffering from reading and writing disorders, and the assessment results demonstrated the system's efficacy in enhancing Vietnamese reading abilities among these children.
