Abstract

Issue of target instruction of passive sensors on radar in multi-sensors cooperative tracking is analyzed, the cueing and handoff demand and triggering mechanisms are researched. Analyze cueing and handoff demand and set up multi-sensor fusion tracking model under sequential processing structure, according to the synergistic characteristics of passive and active sensors. Then covariance control idea is adopted to form the triggering criterions between the passive sensors and radar. Simulation verifies criterions and discusses the influential factor of triggering time in cueing and handoff to assure target instruction can be carried out spontaneously between sensors.
