Abstract
This paper presents a case study conducted in an IT firm that adopts the Scrum agile framework as its project management methodology. The study aimed to evaluate the impact of implementing burndown charts as a tool for visualizing progress and identifying obstacles during sprint or project with inexperienced team. Data was collected through questionnaire and observations with team members. The results showed that even an inexperienced team, after overcoming some challenges, can successfully implement a burndown chart that improve team communication, progress tracking, and obstacle identification during sprints. It is important to emphasize that the results may lack generalizability due to the research limitation of focusing solely on one team from a Croatian company. At the end, further research avenues are suggested.
