CONTENT ANALYSIS OF LIBRARY WEBSITES IN SELECTED CO-AIDED COLLEGES IN BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY: AN ANALYTICAL STUDY

In the information and communication technology era, library services are the most developed and fastest improving segment of college libraries nowadays. Surveyed the websites of six aided co- education autonomous colleges from the list of Bharathidasan University. The information was gathered from the websites of the relevant aided college libraries using a checklist created specifically for this purpose. The libraries’ websites were carefully scanned and evaluated. Based on the analysis, we ranked them. The purpose of this paper is to analyze library contents in terms of their basic information, library sections, collections, electronic resources, services and rank the aided co-education autonomous colleges under Bharathidasan Universities. This article provides a detailed account of the research and administration of better library websites.
