Cloud Governance

Corporate governance has received a lot of prominence since the accounting scandals of the early 2000s. Corporate governance not only includes maintaining correct financial records, but also the information technology aspects of the corporation. These include cyber security governance, artificial intelligence governance and cloud governance. Most corporations are migrating their data, software and processes to the cloud and therefore it is critical that the cloud be governed by appropriate policies and procedures. We also need cloud governance frameworks. The roles and responsibilities of the people involved have to be clearly identified. In this paper we discuss some of the essential points of cloud governance.
