A Research Review of Guangdong Academy in Qing Dynasty

Guangdong Academy reached the height and the most prosperous in Qing Dynasty. The authorresearched on literature of Guangdong Academy in Qing Dynasty from five aspects such as: the historic devel-opment, the relationship between Guangdong Academy and Guangdong academic origin in Qing Dynasty, edu-cational characteristic, social impact, a study of characters. It was found that the study of Guangdong Academyis fragment, fragile and lack of systematic and dynamic research, the regional characteristic research is notthorough enough. In the future there could be multidisciplinary approaches to the research of Guangdong Acad-emy in Qing Dynasty, rendering the omnidirectional and multi-level situation.
