Abstract
Proposal for the architecture and templates of a Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) that extends traditional FHA to include data for multiple industries and standards while covering Artificial Intelligence (AI, ex. Machine Learning (ML), Neural Networks (NN)) and automation and autonomy. The processes and templates fits within various systems engineering and standards based development life cycles to include EASA "W" and SAE AS6983 ML development life cycles while providing tailorable phase transition outputs for each. The end-game is to meet current and future safety needs fro a traceability and closed loop tracking system which can also contribute to a data lake of IP-protected and Public safety data for use in creating, checking completeness, and data minig of FHAs.
