Abstract
Artificial Intelligence–Enabled Analytics for Sustainability: An Integrative Model for Green and Competitive Supply Chains Operations Dr. Swapnil V. Bachhav Assistant Professor, Dept. of MBA, MVP KBT College of Engineering, Nashik, India Dr. Deepak T. Khairnar Professor, Dept. of MBA, MVP KBT College of Engineering, Nashik, India Abstract The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into operations and supply chain management (SCM) is transforming how organizations achieve sustainability while strengthening long-term competitiveness. AI-driven analytics enables organizations to optimize resource utilization, improve operational efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and support environmentally responsible decision-making. This study examines the role of AI in promoting green innovation and enhancing sustainable supply chain performance (SSCP) through a comprehensive secondary data analysis. Evidence is synthesized from internationally recognized sources, including the World Bank CO₂ Emissions Index, Logistics Performance Index (LPI), OECD Green Growth Indicators, Statista AI adoption statistics, and corporate ESG reports. The analysis explores the relationship between AI adoption, environmental performance, green innovation, and competitive advantage across manufacturing and logistics sectors. The findings indicate that AI-supported predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and data-driven decision-making significantly improve sustainability outcomes while enhancing operational resilience. The study offers practical implications for managers, policymakers, and researchers seeking to accelerate digital transformation for sustainable industrial development. Keywords: Artificial intelligence, green innovation, Sustainable Supply chains, Digital transformation, Operational efficiency
