Abstract
The article presents theoretical and empirical data aimed at solving the key problem of modern metacognitivism - the question of whether the main metacognitive processes have independent content, as well as its differentiation from the content of primary cognitive processes. Experimental data confirm the hypothesis of generation of specific procedural content during metacognitive activity. The paper examines in detail the mechanisms of this phenomenon. The determining role of synergetic effects in the organization of basic mental operations for an individual level of development of metacognitive abilities is established. A new psychological phenomenon is described - activity facilitation of regulatory functions of metathinking, with the identification of the conditions for its manifestation. The profession-genetic relativity of the discovered phenomenon is proven and theoretically substantiated. The obtained results make a significant contribution to understanding the nature of metacognitive processes, demonstrating their substantive autonomy while maintaining the relationship with basic cognitive mechanisms.
