Abstract
Examination and evaluation are effective methods for assessing the effectiveness of teaching and the quality of talent cultivation, which are essential components of the teaching process. Traditional course assessments focus on final assessments through paper-based tests, with grading relying on manual labor, which is inefficient and prone to errors. Based on Internet and mobile Internet technologies, this paper proposes a course assessment mechanism that combines both process-oriented and summative evaluations. Considering the large number of students and the multitude of knowledge points in the Introduction to Computer and Software Engineering course, the smart teaching tool Yuketang is used to implement process-oriented assessments, while the summative evaluations are completed using an online examination system developed by the teaching team. After several rounds of teaching practice, the reform measures have been proven to effectively enhance teaching efficiency and improve the quality of teaching.
