Abstract

This study seeks to determine the effects of foreign direct investment inflow in the context of the female labor force participation FLFP, with special emphasis on the synchronizing variables of employment structure and female literacy. This research covers the period between 2011 and 2020 using data from the World Bank and OECD countries. It employs regression analysis alongside unit root tests and GMM in STATA 17. The study demonstrates that FLFP correlates positively, and significantly, with FDI inflows. As such, countries that have a higher female labor participation seem to attract more FDI.
