Abstract
Humanistic pedagogy offers an alternative educational framework that focuses on the holistic development of students, emphasizing autonomy, emotional well-being, and personalized learning. This study explores the impact of humanistic approaches in modern educational settings through qualitative research conducted in three institutions, involving 30 educators and 150 students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The results demonstrate that students exposed to humanistic pedagogy exhibit higher levels of self-directed learning, emotional engagement, and empathy. Teachers, acting as facilitators, foster a collaborative learning environment that promotes individual growth. However, challenges in balancing humanistic flexibility with standardized curricula were noted. This study highlights the need for systemic educational reforms to fully integrate humanistic pedagogical principles, especially in digital and hybrid learning environments. The findings contribute to the discourse on humanistic pedagogy by offering a comprehensive framework for enhancing student development through personalized, reflective, and empathetic teaching practices.
