Abstract
A method based on the fusion of primary and secondary, as well as the conversion of current and heat, is introduced to solve the issue of locating the ground fault section. Specifically, a line terminal system that merges the primary circuit and the secondary circuit is designed. It integrates the primary equipment, such as the circuit breaker and transformer, as well as the secondary modules, such as data conversion, merging, transformation, calculation, and communication. Based on this, the fault location program is automatically started. Then, the current signal of each monitoring position is collected, and a heat model is introduced to carry out the heat transformation of these current signals. After that, the heat transformation correlation value and cumulative heat value between the monitoring positions are calculated so that the fault section location is realized. Finally, its effectiveness and feasibility are verified by simulation tests.
