Abstract
Solar energy is considered to be the most preferred renewable energy source because it is abundant in nature and is least harmful to the environment when compared to other energy sources. Recently, entrepreneurship projects like the Project Sunroof have been pioneering engineering research and regulations to encourage the use of solar energy and to regulate solar panels to receive maximum energy. It is envisaged that the use of the results of such initiatives will be very useful in terms of urban planning activities to assess the potential of a city to benefit from solar energy through solar mapping. If such energy strategies can be combined with sustainable development objectives, they will form a valuable analytical tool that allows cities to measure regional capacity for energy generation. Modeling the environment in which the building is located, identifying the intensity of the sun's rays around it, and calculating how efficiently the number of solar panel and the area is to lay solar panels on each roof, are the steps necessary to identify buildings worthy of solar paneling, System primarily works in different modules. A detailed presentation to educate the people about the benefit of solar panel. Only requirement of the System will be the energy requirement of the workplace. Search for your workplace from Google Earth. The System calculator calculates how much solar panel required fulfilling the requirement and customized savings estimate. Taking a picture and placing the solar panels using the drag and drop feature to provide a 2D visual image representation after solar panel fitting. By using data from Coogle Maps to calculate shadows from nearby structures and taking into account historical weather and temperature patterns. In addition, the System also Provide vendors with store information and store locations for easy installation of the solar panel.
