An Optimized Algorithm in Risk Calculating

CORAS is an EU funded project which developing a methodology and a tool that supported framework for model-based risk assessment targeting security critical systems. According to the subjectivity of risk computation in CORAS's application, meta-risk and asset risk tree and other related concepts are set forth and defined in this paper. Then a computation algorithm is designed which solute the identifying granularity of risk computation and distinguishing influence level of risk on asset's importance.
