Abstract
Traditional Vehicle to Everything (V2X) models have been turned into the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) to meet the rising demand for full access to advanced Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) are regarded as adaptable and multifaceted alternatives for delivering comprehensive IoV services. Current initiatives in the IoV mostly emphasize the development of local infrastructure, neglecting the potential for IoV without infrastructure that need significant edge facilities.Furthermore, data transferred over public networks by automobiles equipped with servers is susceptible to interception and modification by malevolent actors. In order to tackle these security challenges, this study proposes a secure and efficient solution for data gathering and sharing framework for smart transportation enabled by 6G, utilizing UAS. The process entails the collection of data by UAS and its transmission to specialized edge servers. The data is securely combined and transactions are generated on a cloud server by these servers. In addition, we evaluate the security of our proposed protocol through both informal and formal methodologies, specifically by the Scyther Tool. This demonstrates the effectiveness of our authentication mechanism in providing both security and efficiency for the IoVs. Moreover, the proposed protocol exhibits diminished computing and communication costs, alongside reduced energy consumption, while also providing improved security features relative to existing authentication systems.
