Abstract

Being difficult to understand and implement the lecture of Biology Learning Strategy and Design Course is one of the student problems during teaching and learning because they had not been provided by a curriculum based text book. Moreover, secondary teaching materials for the new normal situation after the Covid-19 pandemic, which are to help students to learn, have not been also available. The students used the reading sources from the internet such as blogs where the scientific information is still questionable. So that, it is necessary to design and develop a project-based interactive digital book where it can be used for individual and group learning as well as online and offline conditions. The research was to find out the validity of a project-based interactive digital book of biology learning strategy and design course. It was a research using four D models, which was limited to the validity test on the development stage. The instrument was a questionnaire and it was analyzed by descriptive analysis. The validity shows the mean value 88%. Therefore, it is concluded that the Project-Based Interactive Digital Book of Biology Learning Strategy and Design Course has been valid on the criteria of material, media, and language.
