Abstract

This paper aims to solve the problem of being unable to obtain recorded data due to the complete or partial loss of the frame synchronous words of flight data recorder. The overall technical solution is presented, the positioning and recovery model and its algorithm framework of the frame synchronous words are developed. The data recovery enhancement techniques are proposed such as the binary data stream control algorithm based on bit/byte mode, the mutual verification method of the feature-based data, the interval calculation of adjacent data frames, and then the problem of the inability to obtain accident recorder data due to missing synchronous words is ultimately solved. The proposed method significantly improves the data recovery ratio of the damaged recorder and effectively ensures the accuracy of flight accident investigation and analysis, which has been verified in practical application.
