  1. Photonic Decision Making for Solving Bandit Problem Using Laser Network

2022 · 2022 27th OptoElectronics and Communications Conference (OECC) and 2022 International Conference on Photonics in Switching and Computing (PSC)

We propose a scheme of photonic decision making for solving the multi-armed bandit problem using semiconductor laser network as photonic accelerators. We numerically demonstrate that we can solve different bandit problems using the proposed scheme.
