The goal of this study was to determine how playing electronic educational games affects children’s ability to think critically using an experimental methodology. The sample for the study was made up of 70 early childhood students from the seventh primary school for early childhood who were split into two experimental groups. There were 35 specifically chosen youngsters in each of the two groups. A measure of productive thinking and educational program using electronic games were developed. The results revealed statistically significant variations between the scores of the experimental and control groups in the postmeasurement on the measure of productive thinking and in favor of the experimental group. The findings also revealed statistically significant differences between the scores of the experimental group in the pre-and post-measurement on productive thinking, in favor of the post-measurement. Moreover, the results of the study revealed no statistically significant differences between the post-measurement scores of the experimental group and the follow-up scores of the same group two months after implementing the program.
