This article opens a series of studies devoted to hypothetical intelligent beings of higher dimensions (IBHD) — 4D, 5D and above. The work is based on the holographic projection model developed in the "Universe as a Projection" series: the dimensionality of spacetime is not an objective property of reality but depends on the observer and the choice of description level G. If perceived dimensionality is an epistemic characteristic, then in higher dimensions there may exist observers whose cognitive structure is adapted to these dimensions. The article examines the ontological grounds for such an assumption: the generalised holographic principle (any n-dimensional surface is a screen for events in n+1-dimensional space), the Infinite-Dimensional Multiverse Model (IDM), and the hierarchy of seven forms of matter (7FM), where higher forms (F4–F5) presuppose the existence of intelligence not tied to a biological carrier. Hypothetical types of IBHD are described: crystalline beings (4D) that perceive reality as geometric interrelations; fractal beings (5D) that exist as recursive fields of self-similar interactions; and field-like and plasma-based forms capable of projecting into our reality. Methods for indirect investigation through projection traces are proposed: variations of fundamental constants, geometric patterns, correlations of deviations, as well as specific markers — topological defects, cosmic ray anomalies, and non-random correlations in quantum entanglement. The article concludes with criteria for verification and falsification and an invitation to interdisciplinary dialogue.
