Paper overview
Öz
The European Union began research on Learning and Skills for the Digital Era in 2005. The result is the Digital Competence Framework for Citizens (DigComp 2.1), which is built on five dimensions, each of which has eight proficiency levels. Nowadays DigComp has become a main standard of competencies in Europe, if not in the world. In this article we want to match DigComp with the Framework of Visual Literacy Competences for Engineering Education, which is the result of VLEE projects. The matching result will be illustrated with examples from different educational R&D projects.
