Paper overview

Blockchain technology is increasingly being used in situations that call for DECENTRALIZED trustworthiness due to its decentralized, traceable and tamper-proof characteristics. However, existing blockchain systems are power-intensive and low-throughput, and it is challenging to protect against malicious internal node attacks. All these problems limit the application of blockchain in more scenarios. To address these challenges, we propose a blockchain system based on trust management. We design a trust management model for the blockchain system which can evaluate the trustworthiness of nodes and assign dynamic initial values of trust. In order to guarantee system security and transaction efficiency simultaneously, we propose an improved Raft consensus algorithm. The experimental results and analysis show that the trust management model and improved Raft algorithm is helpful to improve safety and efficiency of the blockchain system.
