Public transportation within university campuses plays an important role in student mobility. Despite the availability of various routes, buses often fail to adhere to schedules, affecting students’ time management and causing them to be late for class. This paper proposed the development of a mobile application designed to track university buses in real-time using global positioning system (GPS) technology, namely OnBoard. The development of the application follows the waterfall model in its software development life cycle (SDLC) and incorporates a Google Maps application programming interface (API) for visualization. Through this application, students can access bus locations and schedules, allowing for better planning and improved time management. According to the findings of the functional testing, the system performs well and provides precise location updates. The result of this project demonstrates the feasibility of enhancing campus transportation services through mobile technology.
