The article explores the relationship between visualization and clarity, and key aspects of using visualization as a means of increasing the effectiveness of teachers’ professional activities in the digital age. Visualization is considered as the process of creating a visual text that represents another, more complex text. It is determined that this process is not completely complete, but increases the effectiveness of the perception of educational material, contributes to better assimilation of complex concepts, and adapts information to the needs and preferences of the target audience. The aim of the article is to identify promising areas for the use of visualization technologies in the activities of modern teachers, which can contribute to their professional development and increase the effectiveness of the organization and conduct of the educational process. It is established that the forms of visualization are diverse, from diagrams and graphs on a plane to three-dimensional models, but are based on common semiotic principles. As part of modern visual culture, visualization in education is closely related to the use of digital technologies, computer devices equipped with a screen, and online data processing tools. Examples of such tools are given, their functionality in the context of forming an interactive, flexible and aesthetically attractive educational environment. It is substantiated that the ability to structure information, apply ergonomic solutions in visual design, take into account the peculiarities of information perception by different groups of its consumers, become conditions for the professional development of teachers and their authority in the educational environment. The article also considers the role of mass culture and artistic visualization as mediators between complex scientific concepts and the everyday experience of students. The study emphasizes the need to form professional competence in the field of visualization among teachers, and suggests deepening attention in the training of future teachers and in courses to improve their qualifications in a number of specific areas. Promising areas in this context are, in particular, the use of interactivity elements, visualization of results in real time, and the application of the principles of digital accessibility. At the same time, it is noted that digital means of visibility and visualization are not universal and teachers should not completely abandon traditional, non-digital means.
