An Analysis of the Usage and Error Types of “Monosyllabic verb+X”Chunks Based on Chinese Intermediate Term Corpus

Through study on the usage ofmonosyllabic verb + X chunksin Chinese intermediate term corpus,It is found that about 40% percent of monosyllabic verb + X chunksappear in Chinese intermediate term corpus. But a few chunks' frequency of usage is high,and chunks with high frequency of usage are mainly high frequency matching. It is somewhat consistent for Chinese learners and Chinese native speakers to use chunks. Main types of the biased errors for Chinese learners to use chunks are missing verbs,verbs error generation,X error generation,chunks confusion,mistaken usage,etc.,among which the confusion errors of chunks with words and phrases are in the majority.
