Research on the Cultivation of Students' Literature Retrieval Ability in Local Undergraduate Colleges: A Case Study of Shandong Institute of Business and Technology

Local undergraduate colleges focus on cultivating applied talents, while considering the graduation thesis writing, postgraduate study, it’s necessary to cultivate students' academic research ability. The literature retrieval ability is one of the basic skill of academic research. The orientation of the local undergraduate colleges determines that it’s not necessary to set up independent literature retrieval courses. The time limit in the classroom, the academic papers and the graduation thesis writing process often do not pay attention to the literature retrieval process, and the library does not play its role, the literature search on the mobile side are not convenient enough; corresponding measures are needed to be taken to solve the above problems.
