This study was conducted to provide a curriculum roadmap that meets the educational needs by analyzing the importance and satisfaction of career competency of the students at the aviation service department for successful employment. To achieve the research objectives, a survey was conducted from September 1 to September 15, 2022 for students enrolled in the aviation service department of colleges located in the metropolitan area. 217 copies of valid data were collected and frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, paired sample t-test, and IPA analysis were performed. As a result of the study, first, the importance of career competency perceived by students was generally higher than satisfaction. Second, by the difference in the importance-satisfaction of career competency, the priority of competencies were derived. Third, as a result of the curriculum roadmap proposed by IPA analysis, it was analyzed that aviation practical education, foreign language education, and interview education were required as essential subjects, and service education was derived as the next important subject. The importance and satisfaction of career competency, as well as the curriculum roadmap derived through this study, can be used in various ways to find a successful job and to strengthen the career competency of students in the aviation service department.
