This review critically examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with robotic arms for smart entry management in high-alert security zones such as airports, mil- itary bases, and nuclear facilities. Key technologies including deep learning algorithms, advanced robotic manipulator de- signs, sensor fusion, biometrics, and IoT/cloud-edge computing frameworks are analyzed for their roles in enhancing security automation. The review synthesizes recent research (2020–2025) on AI-driven threat detection models like CNN, YOLO, and LSTM, control algorithms for robotic arms, multimodal biometric systems, and real-time monitoring enabled by 5G and edge AI. Ethical, privacy, and cybersecurity challenges are also discussed alongside mitigation strategies. Quantitative performance metrics and architectural frameworks are compared to highlight current capabilities and limitations. The paper concludes with future research directions focusing on emerging technologies such as quantum computing, blockchain, and adaptive robotics. This comprehensive analysis underscores the transformative potential of AI-powered robotics in elevating safety, efficiency, and reliability in critical security environments.
