Purpose This research paper aims to explore the evolving role of AI in modern education, analyzing its impact on personalized learning, intelligent tutoring, automated grading, student support, accessibility, and predictive analytics. It will examine how AI-driven tools enhance engagement, improve efficiency, and transform traditional teaching methods. Additionally, the paper will address ethical concerns, such as data privacy, AI biases, and over-reliance on technology. A key challenge discussed will be the financial burden of AI adoption, including costs associated with AI-powered applications, specialized devices, and infrastructure, which may limit accessibility in underprivileged educational settings. Design/Methadology/Approach The design methodology for studying the role of AI in modern education follows a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data collection. Primary data is gathered through Google Forms, where surveys capture insights from educators, students, and administrators regarding AI-driven tools and their impact. Secondary data is sourced from articles, publications, and newsletters, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of trends, innovations, and challenges in AI-powered education. The study emphasizes data triangulation, validating findings by cross-referencing multiple sources. The analysis involves identifying key themes, assessing AI’s effectiveness in personalized learning, automation, and decision-making, and evaluating its ethical implications in education. Findings The study on AI in modern education highlights its growing impact, with widespread use of tools like virtual tutors, personalized learning plans, and predictive analytics. AI enhances student engagement, learning personalization, and continuous assessment. However, concerns include AI bias, data privacy, over-reliance on technology, and accessibility issues. While most participants support institutional investment in AI, they emphasize the need for ethical AI development, educator training, and affordability measures. Secondary data confirms high AI adoption among students, mixed educator perspectives, and parental concerns about AI education. A balanced approach is needed to maximize AI’s benefits while addressing its challenges. AI has immense potential to revolutionize education, making it more personalized, engaging, and efficient. However, institutions and developers must address ethical concerns, privacy issues, accessibility gaps, and the risk of over-reliance on AI. By implementing the proposed solutions, AI can be effectively integrated into modern education while ensuring fairness, security, and inclusivity
