The purpose of this research is to address critical gaps in high education. Traditional teaching methods are not industry-aligned and disconnected between education and employment. This causes low class participation rates in computer science colleges in China’s universities, especially the private universities. In this paper, we present an innovative Learning Community Model. This model transforms Agile methodology into traditional courses. The transformation restructures chapters into Agile Epics and learning objectives into Agile User Stories. Both Epics and User Stories are managed through educationally defined Scrum Sprints. This Agile-based educational model reforms Agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective analysis. This prepares students to seamlessly execute future projects for workplace integration. The analysis of qualitative and quantitative data collected throughout 8 weeks. We ensure that knowledge acquisition through user stories is aligned with course concepts for coverage 100%. The empirical results show significant improvements in student participation. Agile pilot communities achieve 20% higher participation rates than non-pilot communities. The results of this research provide valuable references for educational pedagogy in universities.
