Lighting is an important element in the life of modern society. Lighting is a technology that is well known in the community, houses and lights complement each other, but in practice the use of lights that are currently used in housing are generally installed with very little following the rules or standardizing the application of lights in the house. So that the negative impact of neglect is inefficient power consumption and exacerbated by inappropriate usage patterns. This research was carried out by observing the shape of the space in the dwelling, measuring the light intensity from the lamps, and measuring magnetic exposure based on the types of lamps commonly used in residential areas. The result of this research is an optimization for Lighting Plan that can be done based on the needs and lighting standard references.
